1 Hardness Test
  • Data of inspected Part 1: Material: Inlaid Steel SKH3, Width: 25 mm.
  • Crusher (L 506mm, W 100mm, Thickness 16mm).
  • Check 5 different positions with Rockwell Hardness Tester, the readings are:
    HRC 63.3, 62.6, 63.2, 63.2, and 62.8
  • Average value is HRC 63.0
  • The results indicate the variation of hardness in different position is small, which represent the quality of heat treatment is stable.

 

  • Data of inspected Part 2: Material: Inlaid Steel SKD6, Width: 40 mm.
  • Crusher (L 506mm, W 100mm, Thickness 19mm)
  • Check 5 different positions with Rockwell Hardness Tester, the readings are: HRC 60.1, 60.0, 60.2, 60.1, and 60.08
  • Average value is HRC 60.1
  • The results indicate the variation of hardness in different position is small, which represent the quality of heat treatment is stable.

 

2 Tension Test
  • Data of inspected Part 1: Material: Inlaid Steel SKH3, Width: 25 mm.
  • Crusher (L 506mm, W 100mm, Thickness 16mm)
  • Apply 3600kgf tension force on the inspected part, the inlaid steel SKH3 x 25 breaks, while the conjunction surface between two different materials remains firmly adhered. The tension force test is unable to proceed due to the breakage of SKH3 x 25 mm material.

 

  • Data of inspected Part 2: Material: Inlaid Steel SKH6, Width: 40 mm.
  • Crusher (L 506mm, W 100mm, Thickness 19mm)
  • Apply 2400kgf tension force on the inspected part, the inlaid steel SKH6 x 40 breaks, while the conjunction surface between two different materials remains firmly adhered. The tension force test is unable to proceed due to the breakage of SKH6 x 40 mm material.
